At the heart of Poseidon, the central processor unit
manages and analyzes the images from all of the cameras,
tracking swimmers in the pool in real-time. When the system
detects a swimmer in difficulty, it raises the alarm through
the workstation and to the Led panel
Built on standard, time tested computer technologies
the central processor unit includes an uninterruptible power supply
and a remote maintenance capability that allows Poseidon
support technicians to check the system's health and performance,
assuring a high level of reliability and performance.
